Accredited courses in surveying and engineering

Finchley College specialises in offering engineering surveying and management courses, you will be registered with the awarding body and upon successful completion of the course you can apply for a gold CSCS engineer surveyor card. This course is ideal for beginners, graduates and existing engineers seeking qualification. We offer a comprehensive training to transform learners from beginner to competent engineer standard from as little as 12 to 24 days. Our courses are alternative to a university degree, in fact lots of graduates attend the college to learn what they should have learned at the university.
With over 30 years of experience, we have successfully trained more than 1,200 engineers and managers who are now employed across the UK and internationally. Our nationally and internationally recognized qualifications enable learners to apply for CSCS gold engineer surveyor or black manager cards. Many of our graduates have used their credentials to secure residency permits and start new careers and lives abroad.
Our Commitment
We understand that transitioning to a new career can be challenging. Finchley College is committed to supporting you every step of the way toward achieving your aspirations. Existing engineers and surveyors
Beginners attend 12 days of training either on Saturdays or a block of 12 days over two weeks, or a combination of weekday and weekend course. We offer extended training to beginners if necessary at no extra charge.
Graduates from UK universities study the last two units of the qualification with emphasis on learning to use GNSS and Total Stations to improve their skills for surveying and setting out construction elements, and improve their job prospects. This course will set you apart from the competition as it provides post graduate training, understanding how to work as an engineer or a surveyor, academic references and post training support.
Existing engineers and surveyors will study the first four of the five units of the qualification. We will agree on an individual learning plan to suit their availability. This course does not include the setting out unit as existing engineers/surveyors should be familiar with this topic. We will visit learners at their workplace for Total Station, and setting out assessment.
Engineering Surveying training dates:
London: Weekend classes: Saturday 4th of October
London: Weekday classes: Monday, 3rd of November
Manchester: 10 days split over two blocks of 5 days each month or the 4th weekend of every month
